I loved the way you'd laugh

When I'd stumble and fall off the path

That lead to where we'd love to stay

And call the woods a home

And the way you'd call my name

When I got distracted by the framing

I never wanted this to end like it did

Not because of all the stupid shit I've said

Now I lie down in my bed and cry

And you are outside screaming "Live your life!"

You're gone and I'm left

Shattered to rebuild my own head

Oh, fuck the man

Whoever said that absence makes the heart grow fonder

Because your absence has made my heart grow darker

I never wanted this to end like it did

Not because of all the stupid shit I've said
